Today we celebrate our one year anniversary. I have a hard time believing its been an entire year since Mexico. Feels just like yesterday we were down there enjoying our drinks from LUCY!!!
With the big Japan trip coming up Ichiro and I had a VERY busy 4 days. So we decided to celebrate our 1 year anniversary on Friday night. We decided to have dinner at the Melting Pot, a new fondue restaurant that opened in the area. We got to sit in “lover’s lane” and I totally enjoyed every minute of it! It was so private and romantic! So Ichiro and I promised that we were not going to do gifts, our plan was to buy something fantastic in Japan. BUT like always I couldn’t follow the rules. So I knew Ichiro wanted a new iPod for the trip and I was excited to give it to him!! (I think he loved it!!!) Check out the card we got from The Melting Pot!
We celebrated last night because our plan for today to head to CT. We were going to drop Inu and Haley off at my parents so we wouldn’t have to do it on Wednesday when we were rushing to NY for the trip. Well as many of you know Haley hasn’t been acting normal lately and it has just gotten worst the last couple of days. She hasn’t been eating and has been throwing up. So this morning we took her to the emergency room. After 4 hours of waiting and many MANY tests we have learned that Haley has a heart murmur, an enlarged heart and possibly kidney failure. (hahah Happy Anniversary) We are waiting for one more test to come back. The kidney problem could be caused from a UTI. If that’s the case its treatable. She’s on meds now and a special diet of rice and boiled chicken. So we never had it to CT, and we had to cancel on Matt and Sarah (sorry guys!) Our plan is to keep her here until Wed when we leave for NY.
