For Halloween the neighbors gave both Noby and Koji bags filled with Halloween goodies.  Noby got a Winnie the Pooh paint set so today we decided to try it out!

This year we headed back to Belmont for a fun night of trick or treating with some friends.  Like last year we decided the boy would have a great time together and of course they did!  It was also the first time they got to meet Koji!!

Halloween day Ichiro and I took the boys to Franklin Park Zoo for Zoo Howl.  That day the zoo hosted a number of different activities throughout the grounds.  They had a scavenger hunt, a maze, trick or treating, a craft area and throughout the day they gave different animals pumpkins to enjoy.  Also near the entrance there was a main stage where Radio Disney performed and held contests.  We had a great afternoon and everyone loved Noby hoping around in his costume.  Everyone kept saying, “Ohhhh Noooo a kangaroo got loose!”

This week Taco night was moved to Friday!! Keith was finally feel better and came over Friday to not only meet Koji but basically just hang out.  Between being sick and what seemed to be a never ending election campaign we haven’t seen much of Keith lately!! It’s been like months! I can’t believe I’m saying this but ALL the Ashiharas have really missed him!  Friday turned out to be a great, well needed, night for all of us!!!

Noby’s Halloween fun continued on Friday with a Halloween parade at school.  The teachers asked that we send the kids costumes in a bag and after snack they would have a parade around the school.  All the parents were surprised when the kids were released still in their costumes!! It was funny, we all pulled out our cell phones to snap a few pictures!

This week has been full of Halloween fun!!  Thursday after school, we headed to Brenda’s office for the annual Halloween Trick or Treating!  Noby had such a great time!  He really got into it this year.  At every bowl of candy he would “ohhhh” and “awww!”  He even said “My Favorite,” on candy he has NEVER had before.  It was very cute! haha

Tuesday we headed to story hour at the library with mom and Julia.  It was a special Halloween themed story hour and all the kids could come dressed up.  Thank goodness that one of the daycare kids had given Noby some of their old Halloween costumes, he looked so cute as a kangaroo!!

Monday, after a disastrous morning full of exploding diapers, I decided it was time for a road trip!  Noby and I took Koji on his first trip to Suffield!!  Koji did great in the car and both kids were so excited to see Memere when we got there!   As soon as the word got out that we were in Suffield, Kathy came over for a baby fix!!

That night we took the boys to see Grandpepere!  It was an awesome night and Grandpepere was so proud to see his great grand kids!  Here are a few pictures from our night…

If the last weeks visits weren’t exciting enough on Saturday the Mahers made the trip from CT to meet Koji!  It was such a nice relaxing afternoon and I was so happy that they were here!  I love to watch Noby and Bodie play.  Noby doesn’t play well with many kids but he always seems to do amazing with Bodie.  He has no problem sharing his toys with him, he even let him watch Rachel with him!  We remembered to take the camera out at the END of the afternoon, so we only had a few pictures from the day!

During our first week home, we had time for many, many more things.  Mainly because my mom was here and she played a huge role in us getting things done!!!   So after she left, many things that got done during that first week, didn’t get done during the second and third.  Lets see, the house wasn’t as clean, the meals weren’t as homemade, pictures weren’t taken and clearly no blogging got done! Everyday, it was a struggle just to get a shower in.  I found a few minutes today and thought I would try to do a little back blogging.

During that second week home we had lots of visitors come meet Koji.  People who we haven’t seen in a while!  It was awesome to see them, to be able to hangout and visit for a while.  Of course for most of the visits we forgot to take the camera out.  So we missed out on some great photo opportunities! 🙁  I’m very bummed about this!!  We did however get a few, and here they are…

Mom and Dad left on Sunday, but that morning we snapped a few pictures of them hanging out on the couch…

On that Sunday Matt, Katie and Audrey came for a visit.  Here’s a snap shot that Matt took with his iPhone.  Not the best picture, but Audrey looks adorable!!

On Tuesday, on their way back from Maine, Bill and Janine stopped by.  It was amazing to see them and be able to show off Koji!  Ichiro was home, so of course he remember to take the camera out!! Good thing we have Ichiro!

Could the week of visitors get any better??  Actually it did!!! On Thursday morning, Mo and Brooke came to visit!  They came with bagels and coffee and we had an amazing morning!  The kids played and we talked about everything!  I again forgot to take the camera out so we missed out on some great photos!  Thanks again Mo for coming out and for bringing breakfast and flowers!!!
