Today, while Noby napped (in the swing 🙁 ) I realized just how hungry I was. It was 1:30 and I hadn’t ate anything all day. I started to look around to see what we had and realized we really didn’t have much. I had planned to eat my normal salad for lunch but realized what I thought was lettuce was a half of head of cabbage. hummmm cabbage salad.. I don’t think so! So I looked a little more… Chicken broth, frozen veggies, black beans, LENTILS!! You know what that means, Kerry Style Soup. Pretty much I made a soup with whatever I found in the cabinets. I started with some oil, garlic and onions. I added some of my favorite new spice, smoked paprika, then some chicken broth. After it was boiling I added the lentils. When the lentils were done I added veggies, black beans and a can of corn. Right near the end I added that cabbage that I originally thought was lettuce. All I can say is YUMMY!!

We had some leftover chicken in the fridge so I chopped up a little and added it to the bottle of my bowl.
