Are there people in your life that have just always been part of your life? Now, I don’t mean family. Well I guess they are a type of family, just not blood. At least for me they are, like an extended family. As far back as I can remember my parents have been friends with Ted and Gail. They have always been part of my life. I have so many childhood memories of them. Cribbage Nights, as my parents played cards in the kitchen, Brenda and I watched tv and ate popcorn in Ted and Gail’s back living room. I remember both of us being so excited if one of their 3 boys would pop in to say Hi to us! haha I have memories of the little stream that flowed behind their house; how they made a little dam so you could swim. And memories of church craft fairs that my Mom and Gail would sell the white snow people at. As I get older and now have kids of my own, I think about these type of things. I think about our friends, I think about how my kids are making memories and I think about how lucky we are to have such great lifetime friends like Ted and Gail!!
Ted and Gail were in the Boston this week to celebrate Easter with their sons and grand-kids. Brenda and I were so excited when they called to see if they could come down to visit us!!! It was a great evening catching up with such wonderful people!!
