Matt and Katie are expecting and Sunday I was able to celebrate with them at their baby shower!! It was so much fun to see everyone. All their friends and family gathered to celebrate, and everyone is so excited for this new little bundle of joy! I just know Matt and Katie are going to make awesome parents!

The weather was nice the other day so we decided we should try out Noby’s new beach bathing suit. Here is he modeling it, well kind of, I couldn’t get him to stand still!

Ichiro’s been away for almost a week now and Noby hasn’t stopped asking for him. The other day at the outlets when any Asian looking man walked by he would say “Daddy?” I quickly kept walking to make sure no one heard him. Then the day we went to the post office it happened again. This time the man turned around in shock! haha He kind of shook his head at Noby and said “Nooooooo!” It was pretty funny.
Because of Ichiro schedule in CA and the time difference we haven’t had much time to talk. Tonight before Noby went to bed we were able to get a little iChat in. Noby was soooo excited to see Daddy. He was jumping up and down on the couch, kissing the screen and even looking behind the computer to see if he was there. It was great! Eventually Noby started to make silly faces at Ichiro, something new he just started doing. Of course Ichiro was more then happy to encourage the behavior!!!
Check out how cute Noby is in the corner!!

After the first bite of his donut, Noby seemed to forgive the Dunkin Donuts lady for putting the wrong kind of donut in the bag this morning. He smiled and laughed after every bite of that chocolate cake donut!!!

A few weekends ago, the weekend of my cousin Meghan’s wedding, I had my first attempt at making cole slaw. I used my aunt’s recipe that I got the weekend we flew to Chicago last summer. I’m not much of a cole slaw fan but that weekend I feel in love with my aunts recipe. I haven’t had a reason to make it till the picnic at my mothers house. It was a hit, even if I did make WAY to much! haha
Aunt Karen’s Yummy Cole Slaw
1 package of Cole Slaw Mix (Its cabbage/carrots already cut)
2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion
1 cup Hellman’s Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of Sugar
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of celery seed
Add chopped onion to the cole slaw mix. Combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed. Add mayonnaise mixture to cole slaw mix. Mix and refrigerate over night.
