While in NY on Black Friday, Ichiro and I braved the malls to see if we could find any deals. To bad we went to the Westchester Mall, where every store is crazy expensive, and deals aren’t really what I consider deals. Well while out we did find one great deal, one that I was pretty excited about. So what do people get themselves at Williams-Sonoma on Black Friday, people who have almost every kitchen gadget? That’s right, an ice cream maker!!!!! YUMMM
The other night Ichiro and I decided to try and make lemon sorbet. We had so much fun making it and boy was it GOOD!!!
An ice bath to cool the simple syrup…
A little lemon zest…
Fresh squeezed lemon juice…
Mix and add it all to the machine…
Within seconds the liquid started to freeze around the outside…
And 25 minutes later….
Someone was very interested in the freezing…
Doesn’t get more fresh…
The machines makes about 2 qts…
Mmmmm sooo good!!
