So I’ve been “working” on two different quilts for a while now. I use quotation marks because it’s been more like “on and off working” but working nonetheless. Well the due dates for these quilts are coming VERY quickly!
One quilt is top secret, I haven’t been showing any pictures on the site because… well… it’s my first quilt I’m giving as a gift. Which makes it even harder for me to figure out. It’s just never perfect! I think I’ve decided on a simple stacked coin design but finding all the right fabrics have just not been easy for me. And what I have sewn has been taken apart a couple of times. I just didn’t like the order of the fabrics. My indecisions has sent me to yet another quilt shops this weekend. It was a wonderful shop but I just didn’t find what I’m looking for. I’m running out of time!!
My second quilt, The Beach Quilt, is coming along nicely. Slowly but nicely. The front of the quilt is finally finished and the back was finally started this weekend. Today during Noby’s nap I worked on the log cabin design that I wanted for the back. I had to look up how to do it on line but I think I finally figure it out. Check it out, not bad for my first attempt!
