I spent Saturday reminiscing about about my time at UMF, esp about my girls from UMF. I spent the morning making peaches for Noby. And ALL day I had the Peaches Song in my head.
The making of the peaches was kind of a pain in the butt. The website suggested cutting the peaches in half, pitting them, baking them, pealing them and then blending them. Well cutting was easy, pitting wasn’t. When i tried to take the pit out I pretty much ripped the peach apart. So I ended up baking with the pit in half of the peach, no big deal. Well after baking the pealing was NOT very easy. I’m not sure if I didn’t cook it long enough for what but it was a pain. The entire time I kept saying, “Noby better not like peaches!” But he did, he LOVED them.
We also froze a few slices of peaches and tried out the mesh teether. Noby made the best faces!
