So Brenda and I didn’t get very far the other day with our cookie adventure… as you recall we only made the Spritz cookies.   So today, Ichiro didn’t go bowling and volunteered to watch Noby while I went to Brenda’s to finish the cookie cooking.  Ok maybe he didn’t volunteer but he didn’t say no when I suggested it.

The plan was to make chocolate covered pretzels and ginger bread men.  Well again that was a little ambitious but we did mange to get all the chocolate covered pretzels done.  And I have to say they came out pretty darn good.  Very gourmet!! They were all covered with chocolate and then they were either rolled in M&Ms, walnuts, Oreos, sprinkles, or doubled dipped in peanut butter.   Like I said, Very Gourmet!!!

So last night after getting my early Xmas gift, Guitar Hero I was a little bit of a brat. I got a little bummed that Christmas morning I wouldn’t have anything to open from Ichiro. I couldn’t understand why he didn’t wrapped it and give it to me then. I didn’t want to say anything because I KNEW I was being a brat but that’s how I was feeling. I’m not really sure why, I mean I wanted Guitar Hero so bad. Anyway Ichiro thought we should open it, he said “to make sure everything was there.” UMMM NO, its a Xmas gift, we will open it on Xmas. Well that didn’t last very long. I stared at it for about an hour then said, “maybe we should open it….”

All I can say is HAHAHAHAHA

I LOVE IT!!

So I’m not only a brat but I’m also a sucker!! A few weeks ago I got a mailing for a portrait studio who was having an offer for new babies.  The mailing said there were only a few available and it was a first come first serve type of thing.  Also if you were one of the first 4 to call you also receive 2 bonuses.  It sounded like such a great deal.  Noby would get a 3month, a 6 month, 9 month and a year photo session with her.  At the end we would get a framed piece of art that would have one shot from each session.  All this, 4 one hour photo sessions, 4 reviewing session, and the framed piece with his 4 photos for only $39, plus tax.  Well here comes sucker Becky, I call ASAP.  With stuff like this I would normally have Ichiro look it over but I wanted the 2 bonuses.  I make the call, I pay the $39 and sign up for the first session.

Well today was Noby’s 3 month photo session.  It was amazing, Noby was so involved, actually smiling and laughing.  Everything was great and I knew I would have such a hard time picking just one of her photos.  So she took about an hours worth of pictures, posing him in different positions.    It was great, till the end when she showed me the price list for additional photos.  OMG can you said $$$$$$.  I am such a sucker.  She got me in with this amazing deal and now I am going to be so sad that I can’t have more of the photos.

I guess I will be going back to Babies R Us for them. 🙁

Noby and I had a pretty busy week, last week. We spent the beginning of the week shopping, trying to finish before Christmas. I think Wednesday we spent the afternoon with Jo and Avery.

Thursday night was Ichiro’s work Christmas party. JFF always throws the best holiday parties. This year however it was canceled because of the snow. BOOOOOO!

Friday Ichiro stayed home from work and we all stayed in our pjs. We had so much fun playing all day, actually daddy worked on Noby’s room.

Friday night we went to the Lynch Annual Holiday Party. Once again we had a great time. I love hanging out with Matt and Katie, they are such great people!!!

Saturday, Brenda and I had all these plans to make 4 different kinds of Christmas cookies. We thought, no problem we can get this stuff done. We wanted to make Spritz cookies, ginger bread cookies, chocolate cover pretzels and even some peanut butter balls. Well things didn’t work out as planned. We ended up only getting the Spritz cookies made. That in itself was such a project! We ended up calling mom to tell her how much we appreciate her always having these when we came home for Xmas. Thanks MOM!!

Saturday night, Ichiro, Noby and I went to dinner with Niels and Rebecca. We went to this great pizza restaurant in Belmont. It’s such a cute place, they make personal size gourmet pizzas, I had a bacon and blue cheese pizza. YUMMY. After dinner and a trip to TCBY we headed back to the house to hang out for a bit.

Sunday we had another storm, which meant SNOW DAY!!! Again we decided to stay in our pjs. Ichiro work on Noby’s room again and Noby and I worked on organizing the Xmas gifts and the dining room. That was until the all stopped working to watch the season finale of Survivor. Boo I wish that show wasn’t over!

That brings us to today, Monday December 17th. Today Noby and I met my group from work for a holiday lunch. Then we went to the office and cleaned out my cube. I also turned in my laptop, pager and badge. It’s now TOTALLY offical, I’m a SAHM.

YAHOO!!!

So tonight Ichiro went shopping, he had to get a few things at the Depot and needed to pick up a couple of Xmas gifts. Well he came home and said he got me a gift but he couldn’t wrap it cause it was to big. So he decided to give me my Xmas gift tonight. I got Guitar Hero for the Wii. Keep and eye out for some funny videos!! hahahha
