So one of the main reason I went to CT was to watch the daycare kids while my mom went to the doctors with my father. This week my dad had to swallow a pill that was actually a camera. The pill traveled through his system taking pictures twice a second. The pictures are transmitted to a fanny pack that he wears for the 8 hours the camera is working. What an amazing process. We should hear about the results in two weeks. It sucks that it’ll take two weeks but I guess the doctor needs to watch the 8 hours of video. FUN!! I forgot to take some pictures of my dad with his hip fanny pack.
My dad said that the pill looked something like this. I guess he had a had time swallowing something that was blinking.
Wednesday was Mom’s birthday. We are a few days late on posting but we wanted to wish Mom/Memere and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We had such a great time spending your birthday with you!
Katie was in town for a few days so we headed down to RI to have a little visit. Instead of going to the Lemoine’s house we met up at Keri’s house. Keri and Marissa, two of Katie’s bestest friends just had babies, and it was a great opportunity for a “play date.” After our date we headed to CT to visit with Memere and Grandpa!
The boys, Bryce, Noby and Jack. Noby looks like a giant!
Keri and her little man, Jack Ryan!
Marissa and Bryce, what a cutie-pie!

Noby and I were decked out in our St Paddy’s Day gear. How cute are we??
Happy St Paddy’s Day!
Tonight was our first day of 2-2-2 feeding. We now give Noby two tablespoons of rice cereal, 2 times a day for 2 weeks. Since we get to give him a “dinner” Daddy will be able to help!
Friday we got a little smarter by way of the Boston Science Museum. Brenda took the day off because a couple of her friends came to visit. The asked if Noby and I wanted to tag along. Of course we said yes!! Check out a few of our pictures…

Mommy and Noby walking in the “woods.”
Noby playing in the toddle room.
Noby in the Butterfly Garden. Can you find the butterfly stealing a ride on the stroller?
This little guy was on the stroller the entire time.
This guy was also going for a ride!
The Butterfly Garden.
Hey Dad, we even learned all about your hip replacement!!
The day started like any other; Ichiro left for work, Noby and I got up, we fought over the cereal. Here are the pictures from today, and YES that is another Halloween bib! haha
“This again?”
“WHY?”
“I’m warning you, I’m not having it!”
“whaaaaaaaaaaa”
“whaaa”
“WHAAAAA!”
This might come out bad but I have to admit that him crying actually made feeding him A LOT easier. Every time he opened his mouth to cry I spooned food in his mouth! PERFECT!!!
After feeding time, Noby passed out from all the crying. A perfect time to take a shower. Good thing I did because no sooner was I dressed did the doorbell ring. My thought, “who the hell??”
The man to clean the sofa. I wasn’t expecting him today because we never actually talked to the company. They left a message on the machine but we never talked. I told the guy “thank god I got dressed today!” Most of the spots came out pretty good, however a couple of them didn’t. He put spray that takes 8 hours to work fullly so we’ll have to wait and see.
Just like new!
Well kind of…
So I haven’t been feeling good lately so this morning I called the doctor, they had me come in at 2. By the time the cleaning guy left I ran upstairs to get Noby dressed and we were off to the doctors. She thinks it’s not strep but did a throat culture just to be sure. She said I needed rest, and again I laughed at her. She gave me prescription for a mouth wash to numb my tonsils if I need it.
When I got from the doctor these were at the door! Aren’t they the most beautiful flowers!! Thank you Noby and Yoko!
Day 4 was not as bad as the other 3 days. Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t happy but I think he knew I was not giving up! And yes that is another Halloween bib!! haha
I think he thinks I can’t see him if he doesn’t look at me.
Well today Noby and I were going to head to CT to visit my parents. Well wouldn’t you know I am sick again. I AM SOOO tired of being sick. It’s not the shingles this time, I think I have the flu. I was up all night with the shivers, my head and entire body is sore, and this morning I had a slight fever. I really just want to go home and have my mom take care of me. There is nothing better then having a mom care for you when you’re sick, but I knew I couldn’t risk getting my father sick. So here we are, home again, sick. I know the past couple of days I have only posted Noby eating pictures, but honestly that is all we have going on right now.
Here are some pictures from day 3…
“this is NOT fun!”
“Really I don’t understand why we are doing this.”
Day 2 of our new feeding schedule did not go as well as day 1. He seemed to know what I was doing and wanted no part of it. Yesterday I could get him to laugh, when he opened his mouth and I could spoon the food right in. Today Noby figured out how to laugh without opening his mouth. He really wanted NO part in the food. I guess we will try again tomorrow.
