So today is our 6th wedding anniversary. It’s hard to believe that Ichiro and I have been married for 6 years!! Where has the time gone? So I know what you’re thinking, “in what romantic way did you celebrate this wonderful event?” Well we spent the day running from zombies!! Yup Zombies! Sometime last year Ichiro came up with this crazy idea that he wanted to run the “Run For Your Life” 5k obstacle race. This is a 3.1 miles obstacle race where zombies try to grab your 3 flag football flags. Well the more people I told his crazy idea to, the more people said they were going to join us and before I knew it I was signed up for my first race of any kind. I was so nervous so back in January I started boot camp. 3 days a week, I got up and headed to the Charlestown high school football field to workout from 6am to 7. Well today was the race and I have to say that I’m so proud of myself. I finished, that’s all I wanted to do, AND I did ALL the obstacles. GO ME!!
