Our party weekend continued with a doubling booking today. Without talking to each other, Ichiro and I both RSVPed yes to two different events. We were actually pretty bummed because we really wanted to attend both events. We decided the best solution was to leave the first party a little early and arrive at the second party a little late. We thought this would work out perfectly, little did we know the stars were not in our favor today! haha
Our first event of the day was Willem’s Baptism. We were so excited that Brian and Sarah invited us to share in this special day. The mass was beautiful, we were asked not to take pictures during mass so I’m sad to report I have nothing to show you. But believe me, little Willem looked dashing and Brian and Sarah couldn’t have looked any prouder! I was honored to be there! After we were invited back to their house for brunch. Because of a guest speaker during mass we knew we didn’t have much time to visit before heading to the other party. Ichiro and I debated if it would be worth loading and unloading the kids for that short amount of time. But we went and I’m so happy we did! We were able to catch up with some friends we don’t get to see that often!!
We left Willem’s Baptism brunch to head over to Riley’s 1st Birthday brunch! It was a big day for both little guys and we couldn’t be happier to be able to celebrate with both of them! Noby and Koji had a great time playing with Riley and Liam. You would have never known that this was the first time we got them all together to play! Noby talked about Liam’s train set the entire trip home and I’m pretty sure Koji is dreaming about Riley’s Mickey Mouse ride on toy! It was such a nice, relaxing afternoon and I can’t thanks Amanda and Bg enough for the invite!!! Happy 1st Birthday Riley!!
