I can’t believe it’s been another week since I last blogged. Noby and I have been pretty busy, so we have a bunch to share with you.
First I’ll show you my progress on my knitting project. I can’t remember when I actually started making this blanket but since Kerry was here visiting I’ve gotten back into knitting. It’s slow but something I can do with very little thinking. It’s a perfect project to work on while curled up on the couch. It’s finally getting large enough to keep your lap warm! lol
Noby has been working on his own art projects too. Saturday while Brenda and I were out shopping we picked him up an art easel. He’s been having the best time playing with it! The other day I wrote N O B Y on the top of the easel, well now Noby walks around the house saying “N O B Y”!! He’s just so smart!! lol
I’ve found an awesome website that has TONS of art projects to do with children at all different age levels. Because Noby is so into his letters I’ve decided to do some art projects with different letters. Our first project was Alligator A’s.
I first drew a letter A on some green paper. I then let Noby color it with yellow, green and brown pencils and markers…
After I cut the A out, I let Noby put glue around the mouth and eyes of the alligator…
Next he added the teeth and eyes…

So right now the biggest project I’ve been working on is my heritage scrapbook. Noby and I headed to CT for a few days where I ended up scanning over 200 pictures. This project is BIG, I’ve been trying to collect pictures for a while now and finally hit the mother load!!! First I borrowed two of my aunts albums that were given to them a while ago by my Memere. She gave each of her children an album loaded with pictures from their history. I was able to get some really good scans for my project. Then on Monday morning I hung out with my Grandmother and scanned TONS of pictures for the Hansen’s side of the family. I finally feel like I have enough pictures to start working. Here are a few of my favorites…
