This morning was Noby’s 9 month appointment. It’s SO hard to believe that he’s already 9 months!! It seems like yesterday we were taking home our 8lb 3 oz baby, he is not that anymore!!! I’ve listed the stats with the percent range he now falls into. As you can see he’s below average for weight right now but the doctor wasn’t concerned. He said it’s very normal for this age range, specially if the baby is active. No shots are given at the 9 month appointment, however blood work was done. The doctor normally tests for 2 things, the CBC (complete blood count) and lead levels, but after talking again about the hereditary spherocytosis that runs on the Hansen side he also ordered a blood smear. Let me just tell you, holding a 9 month old while they take viles of blood is NOT fun!!! That is all I will say about that!! So overall the appointment went great, he is growing up quickly!! 🙁 Here are a few pictures to show you!!!
