Today Noby and I had a little Noby Mommy Time. We headed out to the Franklin Park Zoo for a few hours. Noby had such a great time and really did well listening to me. He stayed close and didn’t run off, even held my hand when I asked him to. I was very proud of my little man today!
This morning Noby and I attended what would turn out to be his last “regular” EI group. His teachers suggested that Noby move into what they call a transition class. This class still only meets once a week (Thursdays not Wednesdays) but half way through the class all the parents leave. They think this will be great for Noby, I think it will be great for me. I was getting pretty nervous on how I would do leaving Noby at school that first day. This will help me (and him) get though that! haha
After school we headed over to Lizzy’s. While she ran to a doctors appointment with the youngest, Noby and I stayed to play with the older boys!! Once again we had so much fun!!
Today Noby and I had plans to head to the beach! Katie, Peyton and all the Lemoines rented a house down in RI and we were going to visit for the day. Things didn’t work out for today but since I had promised Noby the beach I knew I had to come up with something. I thought about heading north, I have a friend that goes to OOB every Tuesday but wasn’t to excited about the drive. Then I thought about checking out Wright Pond. Wright Pond is located in Medford, it’s open to town residents only and offers swimming and picnicking. We got ready and headed over, but I must have read the website wrong because the man at the gate said I had to obtain the pass at city hall BEFORE going. I thought I would be able to get one there. Anyway I wasn’t about to go to city hall in my bathing suit so I needed a plan D. Castle Island!!!! Keith suggested it a while back and it was time to check it out!
Noby couldn’t be happier, he had such a great time!!!
No waves and No fear meant Noby wouldn’t get out of the water. Also he just kept going deeper and deeper!
That’s right I got my Le Creuset pot today and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it!! I love everything about it, the size, the color, everything makes me so happy!!! Right now, I’m trying to decide on the first meal to cook in it!!
Ichiro has to do some work in the office on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend but before we let him go in today we all took a trip to the Children’s Museum. We had such a nice afternoon exploring the museum. Afterward we stopped for a giant popsicle before dropping Daddy off at work!
Playing a little basketball…
Noby typing in his email… haha
This was by far Noby’s favorite activity of the day…
If I had extra money AND someplace to put this, I would buy it!!
LOVE IT!

Tonight we went to a dinner party to celebrate our dear friend Cassius’s birthday! It was such a wonderful evening filled with interesting conversation, tasty foods, and great people!!
Thanks for letting us celebrate with you, Cassius! And Happy Birthday!
Today Noby and I headed over to Lizzy’s so the kids could play outside. It’s been sooo long and I couldn’t believe how much the baby has grown!!! HE’S WALKING!! Of course everyone had a great time. I decided to bring Ichiro’s camera to try and get some pictures but realized half the pictures were taken in the wrong format. OOPS…better luck next time. Here are a few I did get!
Tonight Ichiro and I had a very geeky date night! One of Ichiro birthday gifts, one he knew about, was tickets to Star Wars in Concert! A few months ago Ichiro and I were watching tv and came across a special on PBS about a live performance featuring Star Wars music. The PBS special looked awesome and we quickly got online to look for tickets.
It was an AWESOME show. If you are a Star Wars fan and have the opportunity to see this show, I HIGHLY recommend it!! Ichiro took a few short videos that I will try to get up at some point but for now here are a few pictures from the night!
Before the show began…
The real C3PO even narrated it!!!
Can you see the orchestra under the huge screen?
They even had lasers!
In the lobby they had some of the original costumes…
