Two things I’m Loving Right Now…

It’s fall and I was so excited to find my favorite creamer at the grocery store the other day. It makes me so happy to wake up to it… Mmmm pumpkin spice goodness!

The second thing I can’t seem to get enough of is Cranberry Health Mix.  We first had it at the beach while visiting Kathy and my Mom and it’s just soo good! It’s a mix of nuts, seeds, raisins and craisins.  Soooo Yummy!

Girls Night Out with some Jersey Boys!

Tuesday night Brenda and I headed to the Shubert Theater to see Jersey Boys.  I have wanted to see this show for a while now and it didn’t disappoint.  We started the night by meeting at Legal Seafood for a few drinks and a VERY yummy dinner.  As you can see there was nothing left from my crab cake combo dinner…

After dinner we walked (the LONG way) to the theater.  Here we have my beautiful sister waiting in the lobby…

This is when we first noticed that Brenda and I were definitely the youngest people there.  It was actually kind of funny!  We watched everyone entering the theater and would comment if anyone looked slightly younger then 50. lol

As we headed in to theater to find our seats, we were handed the program….

From the first note, the show did not disappoint. It told the story from the beginning of how Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.   Maybe it was growing up with the parents that we have but Brenda and I knew almost every song in the show.  And like everyone else in the theater we sang along under our breathe.

Labor Day Fun!

Sunday (and Monday for that matter) we headed over to the Blackburn’s for their annual Labor Day picnic.  This is Glenn and Kathy’s 19th year for the party and Glenn is saying it might be the second to the last!  Will 20 years be it for this annual tradition??  That is THE question! haha  I guess we will have to wait to see… Once again we had such a great time hanging out and catching up with everyone!  It was fantastic food and fantastic company.  Thanks again to Kathy and Glenn for the invite!

Fun Times with Friends!

Friends of the Fells

Today Noby and I met up with the Friends of the Fells to do a little hike.  Every Tuesday (and every other Thursday) the Friends of the Fells host a Babes in the Woods walk.  Each week they start in a different location and walk for about an hour to an hour and half.  Depending on the start location they let you know if it’s only accessible on foot with backpacks or if you can use a strollers.  It was so nice to be outside and Noby and I hope to join the group again soon!
