Tuesday Noby and I headed over to Lizzy’s house to play with the boys. We have had a crazy summer so we haven’t got to see them in a while. The boys had a great time swimming in the little pool and playing on the swing set, while Lizzy and I relaxed in the shade. I can’t believe in just a couple of days Lizzy will have a third little miracle, we can’t wait to meet the little one.
Noby LOVED B’s boots, he wouldn’t take them off all afternoon…
Lunch time is always blast, as long as you don’t care about messes…
So last week Ichiro finds out that he needed to go to NY for the weekend to work in his Dad’s office. He told me that if possible I should go hang out with my parents cause he was going to be busy all weekend. Well my parents already had a trip planned to Chicago for my aunt and uncles 65th birthday party and Brenda was going with them. To make a very long story short my parents said I should go with them, and before I even knew it I had a ticket to fly with them!! It was such a last minute thing but I’m so happy I got the opportunity to go. I haven’t seen the Hansen side of our family since our wedding and no one has met Noby yet. It was great to catch up and show Noby off!!!
Ok it wasn’t lunch, but Laughs, Dinner and Lynches just didn’t have the same ring. Tonight we had Matt and Katie over for dinner. It was suppose to be a “working” dinner for Matt and Ichiro but it’s been way to long since I saw Katie and Matt. So I said I wanted to have them both over. We had a great time hanging out and catching up on each other lives. Not to mention the yummy Teppanyaki dinner we had!
Thanks again for coming over guys and next time I promise you can work! haha
Friday Ichiro got a call from his friend Myles. Ichiro and Myles families have know each other for years, they grew up going on vacations and stuff together. Recently Myles moved from FL to Boston for school and is now working near Ichiro’s office. Anyway, Friday Myles called Ichiro and said that he had two tickets to the Billy Joel/Elton John concert that he couldn’t use, cause he was in AFRICA!! He asked if we wanted them, free of cost. Ichiro texted me right away, my response… hummmm YES!!!!
The show was absolutely amazing! Just as amazing as when I saw them together in 1994. They do great playing off each other. They started off singing a few songs together, then Elton John had the stage. Next Billy Joel had his turn, man is he a great performer!! Then to finish it off they two sang together again. Each song got better and better.
Thanks again to Myles for such an amazing night!! It was so much fun to go out on a date with my husband!
We had great seats…
It’s Still Rock and Roll To Me….
It’s hard to tell but this guy had shorts with martini glasses on them. I think Ichiro needs to get a some…
Maybe Noby will be the next Top Chef, or how about the Next Food Network Star. Better yet, maybe he will be on Iron Chef!! Whatever show he ends up winning, I’ll know it was me who started him on that path!!!
Today Noby and I headed to the toy store to buy some play food and look what we came home with! We got an awesome deal on a Melissa & Doug play kitchen. Melissa & Doug are well known for their wooden toys. After a few hours of putting it together (it was similar to an Ikea purchase) Noby dove right in. And he hasn’t stopped playing with it yet!
Wednesday we headed back to RI so that Noby could see his little friend one more time before they had to head back to VA. Noby and I had such a great time hanging out with Peyton, Katie, and all the Lemoines. And Noby LOVED the swimming pool!! We got him some swimmies and he was so brave, he didn’t want to be held.
Here’s Noby playing ball with Katie, he was actually saying “my turn” here…
Today we headed up to Derry, NH to have a little fun in the sun with Avery and Colby. Derry has it’s very own “splash” water park, with two large playgrounds and swings galore! We had a really great time, but next time we will just have to plan better and not go during nap time! haha
9 Cedar Cliff Terrace has gone Green. Maybe it had something to do with Mo and our vacation but this morning Noby and I got up and headed to the Town Hall to buy ourselves a recycling bin. I think it looks good in front of our house!
