Both yesterday and today Noby and I hit the parks! Yesterday with Lizzy and the boys and today just the two of us. All I can say is Noby is ALL boy! He loves to climb and loves to run. He is such a little explorer!

Today we woke up to Noby screaming, I mean SCREAMING! When I went in he was standing in the corner of his crib with poop (if you can call it that) everywhere! The smell when I opened the door almost knocked me on my ass! I picked him up, at arms length, and put him right in the tub, pjs and all. There was poop coming out of the neck and poop in the toes! Needless to say that pair of pjs ended up in the trash! While I tried to clean a screaming Noby, Ichiro worked on the room. Once again we stripped the bed and washed down the crib. Thanks GOD we have more than one mattress pad and sheets! We were able to remake the bed right away. This second set of everything came in VERY handy this week!! One night we went through both mattress pads, both sheets and Noby ended up in the pack n play! (Katie, I suggest getting two mattress pads and crib sheets, at least two!!) Yesterday we thought Noby was getting better he hardly pooped and actually started to eat normally. I guess he was just storing it up for this morning! haha
Today while Noby napped, I ran to Target with Brenda to get cleaning supplies. I just couldn’t stand this house anymore, we needed to de-stink it! We even picked up a carpet cleaner to spot clean all the areas of puke and poop from this week in Noby’s room. I just feel like the cleaning we did wasn’t enough. This afternoon, Ichiro and I worked cleaning and washing and cleaning and spraying and washing and cleaning and so on and so on. The house is finally starting to smell normal again! haha Let’s just hope Noby is on the mend!!!
We did take a little break to bring Noby outside today. We felt like he needed a little fresh air. Check him out…

Saturday I had an amazing day out!! I was able to escape to RI for Katie’s baby shower! It was so wonderful to be able to see everyone and share in this exciting time for Katie!! Her family did an amazing job putting the shower together and everyone was so generous. Little Payton is going to be all set once she’s born!!
My camera was acting very weird that day (Ichiro changed the setting and I didn’t know how to change it) so I didn’t get many pictures. Here are a few…
Lisa made the beautiful and YUMMY cake! She’s made Katie’s wedding shower cake, the wedding rehearsal dinner cake, the actual wedding cake and now the baby shower cake. Lisa even remember Katie liked the hazelnut filling so she made the top layer hazelnut. The cake, like always, was sooooo good! Thanks again Lisa!
Katie’s aunts and cousins made the best table center pieces, Diaper Cakes! They saw the idea online and figured they could DIY them!! They came out amazing and now Katie and Payton have TONS of diapers to start off with!
So my camera wasn’t taking any good “far away” shots. Here I tried to get one of Katie opening gifts.
She’s so cute pregnant!!!!!

Can you believe it? Noby had his 18 month appointment on Friday!! I can’t believe that my little baby is already 18 months!! Dr F said he was doing great! He grew almost 2 inches putting him at 33 3/4 inches and he now weighs about 25 lbs! This puts him about 88% for height and 35% for weight.
Friday was pretty much like every other day this week, Noby hung out on the couch between diaper changing. Everything was the same EXCEPT for the fact that Ichiro was home too!! Thursday night Ichiro started to feel a little funny and sure enough Friday morning he woke up sick. He didn’t have it as bad as I did but he couldn’t be far from a bathroom! haha
So I played nurse to my two boys on Friday, while I worked on cleaning the house a little. I did run to the store during Noby’s nap time and ended up getting Noby a new toy. At this point I would buy him anything that would make him feel just a little better.
Still sick:
What a waste, no one was in the mood for cake this week!
Noby’s new toy…
Doesn’t he look so sad?

Noby is still feeling under the weather. He hasn’t thrown up since yesterday, but you can tell he still isn’t 100%, I wouldn’t even say 50%. He’s not eating, an animal cracker here and there and I keep trying to push the water. He HATES the Pedialyte! So since Monday he’s been VERY snuggly! I love it, just wish it wasn’t cause he doesn’t feel good. Here are a few pictures of the last couple of days…
Do you think one day he’s going to be mad that I posted these?? At least they aren’t of him throwing up! haha

its wasn’t food poisoning.
Noby’s been sick since Sunday night. He hasn’t been able to keep anything down. He’s hanging in there, being such a little trooper. Being sick sucks but I do love this snuggle time.

So as you all know yesterday was my birthday, it ended up being a great day. Well that’s until the middle of the night. The day started with Noby and I baking my birthday cake, we then had a play-date with Lizzy and the boys, and on the way home decided to go pick up Ichiro at work. On the way home we stopped for dinner at Not Your Average Joes. I got my favorite mustard chicken but after a couple of bites didn’t think it was cooked all the way. I had so much yummy bread that I just asked him to pack it up. Once we made it home Noby and Ichiro gave me my awesome cards and birthday gift. Noby went to bed, Ichiro and I had cake, little tv and then bedtime. In the middle of the night I woke up with a stomach ache. Not a big deal, maybe to much cake. Well today it was a big deal. Yup food poisoning! It’s been awful, awful! I don’t think I will EVER get that chicken again!
Don’t I have the best son AND husband!!!
So I am to tired and weak to take pictures of anything right now, so I’m gonna leave you with a few from Noby the other day.

For a while now I’ve wanted to take a cake decorating class. Maybe I’ve been watching to much Ace of Cake but it just amazes me what people can do with a little cake and fondant. Earlier this week I might have mentioned this to Kelly but said I needed an excuse to make an entire cake. She quickly pointed out that my birthday was Friday. PERFECT EXCUSE!! So this morning, around 6 am (the time Noby decided to wake up) I started my birthday cake. I have to say for my first cake, it’s really didn’t turn out that bad. Its NO Lisa Cake, not even close, but it’s not that bad. I do have to say I can’t believe the amount of work that goes into making and decorating a cake. And mine is a small cake, I couldn’t imagine doing more than one tier. God bless Lisa and ALL cake decorators!
Don’t worry the scrap cake didn’t go to waste!
