Bring on the Spikes….

After the big event, the Lemoine’s had one happening BBQ at their house.  They had Spikes cater the hotdogs (Doug’s favorite food) and even had a  band.  The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time!!!

BBQ Anyone?

Today we went to Government Center for the Phantom Gourmet Beach BBQ. The Phantom Gourmet is a local TV show that reviews local restaurants. This weekend they had BBQ restaurants from all over the US cooking up a storm. Never thought I would wait in line 1.5 hours for ribs but I did and DAMN were they worth it!

A Long Week….

For the past few months I have been on a committee that planned a 3 day event for work. Well this was the week! We flew in employees from around the world, there was about 60 people total.  It was a long week, (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 am to 9pm) but over all it went great. The first day of the event we did some team building at a local park. I played the pregnancy card and became the official time keeper and photo taker. Here are a few pictures from that event!

My Grandfather….

As many of you know my grandfather passed away last weekend.  He suffered a stroke Memorial Day weekend and put up a good fight for the past couple of weeks. Grandpa lived a long wonderful life of 89 years and will be very missed.

Katie’s Big Bachelorette Weekend!

This weekend I headed to Katie’s house in DC to celebrate one of her last  weekends as a single women!!

Friday night was low key.  We hung out at Katie’s house, had some pizza and waited for everyone to arrive.  Due to some airport cancellations and delays we decided to wait for the last few at the hotel.
