So today I was all about starting mission I.I.A.T.Y.M.L.Y.C.G.O.O.T.G.R. or “Ichiro, It’s about time you move last years Christmas gift out of the guestroom.” That’s right, last year I secretly removed the seats from Ichiro’s Corrado and had them reupholster. They look awesome and have been waiting for Ichiro to replace them in the car. Now there was a lot of work that needed to be done before the seats could just be replaced. Ichiro wanted to replace all the carpet, laying a rubber mat type thing under all of it to absorb the noise, he also had plans to replace the center emergency break area. Actually his plan is to pretty much replace anything tan colored with a black one.
The before…
Working hard…
Ichiro read online about using this roofing material in the car to help mask the road noise. He said it should to the same job as the expensive stuff for about 1/2 the cost…
The carpet being replace with the new “used” one…
The back seats being replaced…
I didn’t get a good picture but the back seats are completely installed. Also the emergency break has been replaced with a nice new black one..
One happy boy…
Ichiro worked hard today and got pretty far on the inside of the car. I guess it’s back to the internet to look for more black Corrado parts to replace his old ones!
