So I will just start by saying sorry that I haven’t been on top of my updates. As you all know I was in CT for about 2 weeks and then came back and got sick. I haven’t been in much of a mood to do anything. Well today Kelly asked if I was updating and I realized I must be letting all my fans down!! SORRY!
Dad Update…
My dad is doing well. He is still in the rehab clinic however the doctor said he can go home soon. Dr actually said, once the physical therapist gives dad the ok, he can go home. See my dad’s surgery was a little more intense then a normal hip replacement. We couldn’t understand why other hip replacement patients come in after dad, had surgery and were out of the hospital and rehab before dad could even put pressure on his foot. No one was explaining things to us and of course that was VERY frustrating to dad. Dad had a doctors appointment this week and everything was explained. During the surgery the Dr was inserting the new “bone” into hip and his original bone stared to crack. They had to stop the surgery and fix that bone with some wire. Anyway he wasn’t allowed to put pressure on it because they were trying to give him a little more time for the crack bone to heal. So once the physical therapist says that he can handle going home then he will be released. He is counting the days!!
Noby Update…
Noby is doing great. He enjoyed the two weeks we spent at Memere and Grandpa’s house. He had many firsts while we were there; first swing ride, first time playing in a old-school playpen, first time having bananas, Cheerios and butternut squash. Here are a few pictures…
I think I like these bananas!
Ohhhh what’s that??? (Cheerios)
At frist Noby wasn’t sure if he liked the texture of the Cheerios.
Is there something on my face??
Noby actually enjoyed playing in this playpen, I think he felt safe from all the daycare kids.
Noby fell asleep on some of the foam mats my mom had. He ended up with a waffle-face!
Inu having fun at Memeres!
