I LOVE the fact that Noby’s in preschool. I love how much he’s grown verbally. I love how many new friends he’s made. I love the two hour break I get 3 days a week! And I LOVE that I get to make cute, fun, crafts for the teachers!!!! I finally have an excuse to make things I find on the internet!! I’m having so much fun!! This week was Teacher Appreciation Week so of course I knew I was going to make something. I started to search Pinterest (AGAIN, If you are NOT part of Pinterest… GET ON IT!!) for something fun to make them. I found several ideas that were similar, they all involved a water bottle of sorts. Here they are…
Domesticatedlady.com posted these about TEA-riffic Teachers…
frillsfluffandtrucks.blogspot.com made a pocket tag with a cute saying about quenching the child’s thirst for knowledge….
And my favorite was from lisastorms.typepad.com. She gave some great insulated cups with lemonade and ice tea inside.
So I decided to combine all the ideas and this is what I came up with…
The gift bags with a “Happy Teacher Appreciation Week” tag…
I went with these sport water bottle filled with both lemonade and iced tea mixes. Noby has 4 different teachers and I was able to find these bottles in 4 different colors. Each bottle has a removable ice pack that they can freeze to keep their drinks cold. It’s hard to tell but the tags I made say, “Thank you for helping quench Noby’s thirst for knowledge! You are a wonderful “ade” in all the children’s learning! Thanks for being such a TEA-riffic teacher!”
I’m very happy with how they came out and the teachers loved them!
