So last Thursday Noby came down with a fever. At first it was just a fever, so I thought it could be his molars. I could see them coming in and his hands have been in his mouth lately. So I didn’t think to much about it. Gave him some Tylenol and sent him on to play. Well it turns out that it was more then just teeth. Much more. It started with the nose, TONS and TONS of stuff coming out of his poor little nose. It was a constant stream and FORGET it when he sneezed! GROSS! Then the cough began. It’s such a deep cough. I can only imagine how his little throat must feel. We have pretty much hung out around the house since the fever. We’re all caught up with every episode of Between the Lions and Little Einsteins.
So that was our weekend, we just hung out around the house. We did manage to play outside a little bit when Noby looked up to it. That was until Sunday, when I started to not feel so well myself. I slowly started to get stuffy. Then a little achy. This morning it wasn’t to bad, Noby and I got up and did some running around. We got home around 11, and then it hit me. My throat was KILLING me. My nose was so stuffy and I couldn’t breathe. It wasn’t good. So I put Noby down for a nap, each book he asked me to read was like drinking sharp swords! Called the doctor to see what an 18 week pregnant woman can take and texted my list to Ichiro to pick up on his way home. I feel like shit. I can’t breathe through my nose, my throat is killing me and my cough is just making it worse!
ANYWAY enough with my Debbie Downer post. I wanted to talk about something exciting. So last week, while Noby was sick, Ichiro introduced to me to a game he has on his iPad. It’s called Plants vs. Zombies and I was quickly hooked.
In the game, you own a house and the zombies are attacking you, trying to get in your house to eat your brains. You have to plant plants that will kill the zombies and keep your house safe. I was hooked. I pretty much took over Ichiro’s iPad. Well at least when Noby was sleeping. Your really can’t play with the iPad around him because he really loves it and wants to play his games on it. Anyway I took over Ichiro’s iPad, a device that I said was not necessary, and played whenever I could. I quickly passed Ichiro on the levels he was on and tonight I finished the game!!! It was a huge disappointment! I was like “THAT’S IT?” And it was. The end. If you have the opportunity to play Plants vs. Zombies and you have a TON of free time. I say PLAY IT! But know you will be sucked in!
