So a few weeks ago, while at Lizzy’s, she made me a very yummy lunch. I’ve been thinking about it ever since and they other night decided to try and duplicate it. It didn’t exactly turn out the same but it was still good, and I didn’t hear any complaining from Ichiro!
Browning up the sausage, I added a small onion and some rosemary while it cooked…
Thawed some spinach in the microwave…
Then squeezed it in a towel to remove all the water….
Beat an egg with about 1 tablespoon of water, add spinach, sausage mixture, 1/4 cup of cheese and a little garlic powder. Then layer the mixture on 1 sheet of a package of Pepperidge Farms Puff Pastry dough and roll.
Spray a pan with Pam and bake for about 20 minutes.
Yumm!!!
So on the back of the Pepperidge Farms Puff Pastry box is a recipe for something ALMOST like this. We just added the sausage and didn’t cut it before cooking.
