Today Noby and I headed to a local elementary school for Noby’s first Tiny Tots Playgroup. The town of Medford has a Family Network that offers all types of playgroups and classes for not only the children of Medford but also the parents. So every Friday for the next 5 weeks we will be involved with this group. To be honest I didn’t really have high hopes for today. I actually went in thinking if it didn’t go well we wouldn’t go back. But surprisingly Noby did alright. He had his moments but so did other kids, which is different from this other weekly “school.” I think it will be good for the both of us. He can play and have some structured activities and I can meet some Medford moms.
So as we all know I hate Noby being messy. Especially if we are out in public. For example if we are out to dinner and he has apple sauce I’ll end up feeding it to him just so it doesn’t end up everywhere. Also I’m always washing his hands. Well today at “school” the teacher tells us that at each playgroup will end with the kids getting a stamp on their hand. This will help them understand that things have a beginning, middle and end. Well it was Noby’s turn for the stamp, he wasn’t to sure about it but let Miss Penny stamp his hand. Well he immediately wanted to get down. Once down he ran right to the sink to wash his hands! Have I created a little clean monster???
Showing off his dinosaur stamp!
