As long as I can remember my parents have been friends with Ted and Gail. When we grew up I remember Friday nights were spent at Ted and Gail’s house in Granby. As Brenda and I watched TV in the back room, the adults would play cribbage in the kitchen. I fell like it was always boys against the girls and the girls always bitching (sorry girls!!) I also remember how much we LOVED going down to the stream behind their house, they had build a small dam and you could go swimming in it. I remember LOVING their house. They had this great basement where Erik lived. I thought it was just the coolest!!! It was such a long time ago, but this is what I remember, at least it’s what my little head wants to think is true!! lol
Anyway Ted and Gail have since moved to Florida but like with any GREAT friendship they keep in touch. TB and GB (what we actually call them) were in the Boston area visiting their children and on their way back they stopped in Suffield for an overnight. It’s always great to chetch up and talk about old times. It was wonderful to see them and I can only hope to have friendships like this one day! (I know a few are on the way! :D)
I just think this is an amazing picture. I should actually find one of when they were all younger to put next to it!!! 😉
I love this picture of TB and Noby, they both have such great smiles!
Noby wasn’t having it anymore, Sorry Gail!!
TB has the entire collection of miniature Hess trucks, one from every year starting back in something like 1998. He gave Noby the 2008 truck (don’t worry he didn’t take it out of the box!)
Hey Ichiro, you can thank Ted for crossing off one of the tasks on my mom’s “Honey Son-in-Law Do List.” Here’s Ted hanging the new American Flag.
As we were all having our morning coffee and wonderful breakfast that mom slaved over all morning, we think we see some wild turkey in the back yard. Two of them just walking around. As Ted looks closer he say’s “That’s not a turkey!!!” We had two PEACOCKS running around our backyard. A male and female!!! I ran around looking for my camera and could only get these two pictures…
The male peacock running down the street, sorry it’s blurry I never expect to see a peacock!!
Here they go down the street!
