Happy 29th Matt!!!
Published in Announcements [A]Not much has been going on in the Ashihara house, however tonight we actually left the house. I might be pregnant but I couldn’t miss Matt’s birthday bash!!! We started the evening at Matt and Katie’s and ended it at a cute Irish bar in Haverhill. I wasn’t out THAT long but we had a great time seeing everyone.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

It’s Valentine’s Day, the one day a year I receive flowers. And BOY, did he do good this year!!! Ichiro was such a smart man and had them delivered to work a day early. I guess he just knew we would have a SNOW DAY today. They are beautiful and there were soo many I couldn’t fit them all in one vase. 3 doz!!! Can you stand it!! I ended up leaving half a work and bring half home to enjoy here. Look how lovely! I love that man!!!
Like I said today was Boston’s first real snow storm. We got about 6 inches. I think, I haven’t actually been outside. Pooor Ichiro, had to go to to work! hahhhaha
So last night I met up with Matt, Katie, Kristy and Austin for some “drinks”. I really had a great time and it was great to see everyone. Matt and Katie are great and know Ichiro and I pretty well… Look what they got the baby… Katie said it’s called “iPop your baby!” hahahaha Its sooo Ichiro!, he LOVES IT! Thanks Matt and Katie!!!

Published in Announcements [A]I know… I know its been a while but now that I know people actually read this I figure I would give you all what you want! I had no idea I had such loyal fans! hahaha Sooo what do you think of my new header?? Ichiro did it… he thinks it’s cool!! lol I’m knitting!
A lot, I mean A LOT has happened since I last posted. I guess the biggest news is that there will soon be a new member of our family. Nope not a new pet… Baby Ashihara will arrive Sept 16(ish)!! It’s hard to believe that in 7 SHORT months I will be a MOM!!! awww can you stand it? As most of you know I had a little spotting during week 7, everything turned out fine. The baby is fine!! One exciting thing that came out of it was that I got to do an early Ultrasound! Check out Baby Ashihara, OK I know it says Hansen but that’s Ichiro’s fault! haha
So I guess baby Ashihara is our biggest news. We’re very excited and can’t wait for him/her to come into our lives.
So lets see, I will try to sum up the past couple of months…. I stopped posting right before Xmas…
We had a great Christmas, we were able to spend a lot of time with our family and it was wonderful, check out this picture we took with the Hansens. Grandpa couldn’t believe we were able to take a picture with everyone in it!! Nevermind the fact that Ichiro put it right on the computer so Grandpa could actually see it! He was SUCH a hero!
Besides the baby news, January was a pretty boring month… We started construction on Bill’s room, or what we now call the Baby’s room!! We still have a lot to do but it’s started!! (Thanks to Memere and Pepere!!!)
This past week we dogsat for Star. Star is one of Inu and Haley’s best friend and they were excited to have her around. Star recently had surgery on her ACL and wasn’t allowed to climb the stairs. Poor Star!!

And last but not least… You asked, “What’s for dinner….” Tonights dinner is dedicated to Kelly and Ryan!! I thought of both of you while in the grocery store buying hats!!! Tonight’s dinner is Ravioli Lasagna, aka Ghetto Lasagna. Check out those layers!! YUMMY!
